This module introduces students to the basic techniques of photography. Topics covered include: cameras, lenses & films; composition, lighting; developing and printing. To allow students to put into practice the techniques learnt a photo-outing to a suitable location in Paris is organized and some of the lessons take place in the school's darkroom . Work of some of the most famous photographers is presented and the group is taken to a major photography exhibition in Paris .
