The aim is for students to learn about the economic operation of the sector-based system of construction (customers, project managers, companies, material producers and distributors, managers and operators) and the main configurations of players who ensure the production and management of building structures and civil engineering. Sustainable development is presented as one of the driving forces for innovation in the construction sector.

1.Construction: Sector-based approach and professions.
2.A sector-based system which has its own particularities without being separate. The usual configuration of construction players.
3.Construction development: new player configurations, sustainable development.
4.The usual configuration of construction players. Building: case study of a new habitation operation.
5.The usual configuration of construction players. Civil engineering: case study of a motorway bypass (lecturers from a large construction group).
6.Private public partnership: three cases in Europe.
7.Private - public partnership in France: process and comparison with the usual player configuration.
8.Professionalisation and outsourcing of construction work management: facilities management (lecturer invited from a large service provider group).
9.Private public partnership contracts and industrial partnership contracts.
10.Services: a vector for internationalisation of large construction groups.
