Aims :

Content : The Mechanics program is designed to present the main concepts and methods underlying the description and understanding of macroscopic phenomena in the Engineering and Natural Sciences. It strives to teach the students how to implement these concepts and methods in order to achieve the optimum design of various mechanical systems or to control their operation. The program involves both theoretical modelling and experimentation and it seeks to make students aware of industrial applications.

Mechanics courses are open to all students: they are organized so as to take into consideration the growing diversity of incoming students' backgrounds and career objectives.
